Meet Our Team

Our owners, husband and wife team, Ryan and Laurin

Ryan, owner and president of Excelsior Appliance Sales and Service, started working for his uncle at the appliance store when he was in the 7th grade and continued as a field service technician until he bought the company in 2017. He still does field service work with his favorite brand being older Sub Zero refrigerators but also continues to work on all kitchen and laundry appliances while running the company. His friendly demeanor and positive attitude and in general being an honest and reliable person, are the elements for his success. In his free time, he is involved in a pool league, slow pitch, coed softball and outings with the side-by-side.  Most importantly, he is a family man and enjoys time with his wife and three girls.  

Laurin, is co-owner and vice president of Excelsior Appliance Sales and Service. When growing up, her family always thought she'd become an entrepreneur, but she became a cosmetologist and an optician instead. However, her family's prediction was correct, but no one expected it to be an appliance store! Laurin is a hardworking, thoughtful and kind individual with a great sense of humor and an ability to relate well to others. Her personal life is filled with "Hobby Farm" responsibilities of taking care of the animals and gardening, but she plays softball with her husband, drives the side-by-side and loves on her girls. She is inspired by a quote from the American humorist Erma Bombeck: "When I stand before God at the end of my life, I would hope that I would not have a single bit of talent left and could say I used everything you gave me."

Wyatt

Wyatt has expertise in working on all kinds of appliances and is determined and able to find quick and clever ways to problem solve any issue. He really enjoys working on antique refrigerators, so if you have one, he is your man! Outside of work, you will find him on a snowmobile or out on a lake ice fishing.    ​

Kyle

Kyle is our company's installer but also skilled in appliance repair. He especially favors installing and repairing dishwashers. Along with attributes of being punctual and reliable, he is very resourceful and personable. He gets teased a lot because he has an uncanny resemblance to the character Yukon Cornelius in the cartoon Rudolph. In his free time, he enjoys building and remodeling projects.  ​

Ben

Ben is a persistent, caring, advantageous and efficient employee - all traits that make him successful at his job. He likes working on Fisher & Paykel dishwashers. In his free time, he enjoys outdoor activities with his two boys and is a fan of the Lord of the Rings trilogy and has a favorite quote from Gandalf - "A wizard is never late, nor is he early, he arrives precisely when he means to."

Mallery works full time in the office. She is a very friendly, honest, dependable employee with a great sense of humor and an ability to figure things out, pushing through any frustration and finding solutions. She has a versatile range of skills and can perform an impressive variety of tasks. She believes that in a great attempt, it is glorious even to fail. When not working, she loves to spend time with ​her family.   ​

    Ann has been a loyal and dedicated employee here at Excelsior Appliance Sales and Service for over 25 years. She has always worked part time on Saturdays but every once in awhile, you will see her pop in on a week day and help pick up the slack if needed. She has an easygoing personality which makes her a pleasure to work with and also helps create a relaxed and enjoyable experience for our customers. If she is here when you come into our showroom, have her show you some pictures of her beautiful quilts she creates in her spare time.

Judi works part time on Mondays and Tuesdays. After retiring from a customer-focused business, she brings those same skills to her job here, effectively prioritizing customer needs and ensuring they are met.  She is consistently invested in her work and the mission of the business as well as being a passionate advocate to her son-in-law and daughter, owners of Excelsior Appliance Sales and Service. Off hours, you will find her sewing, playing her piano and violin or being with family and all her favorite grandchildren.
